Prayer at Lenzie Union
"Jesus told his disciples that they should always pray and not give up" Luke 18:1
Lenzie Union aims to encourage prayer at every level. The church is open for quiet reflection every Wednesday morning. A short time of prayer is held at 10.15 am. 'Prayer Focus' is a monthly opportunity to meet in the transept of the church, following the sunday morning service, for a brief and focused time of communal prayer.
The prayer chain can be informed in confidence of individual situations to include within their regular prayers. In addition, a quarterly prayer diary is produced by Mike Hooper, which highlights key concerns within the church, that people can use as a guide for their daily prayers. The weekly Update leaflet also includes a prayer prompt. Personal prayer is encouraged through the use of bible study notes available through the church.
