A Special Evening

What a special evening shared with so many!

The Summer Strawberry Social organized by Janie and the Coffee Pot Team proved to be a most enjoyable evening.

From the beautifully decorated hall and tables to the tasty two course buffet supper, the highlight of which was the choice of delectable homemade strawberry desserts ! Mmmmm! Who could resist!

The second half of the evening was also a treat! We were entertained by the New Day Singers, a popular and talented local group, who delivered a range of songs which kept us all thoroughly engrossed and smiling to the end. Quite a performance!

The evening was not over yet! Time for tea, coffee and tablet!

Then time for a short reflection based on “A Strawberry” from Rev John Campbell before we all went home, well fed, well entertained and truly blessed!

To add to all this, the funds that were raised will be shared between Build South Africa and our Church.

A very special evening indeed! Well done to all who worked so hard to organize this!
